Stephen Colbert to Make a Cameo in The Hobbit
Colbert Nation, prepare yourself for a merger with Middle-earth! Stephen Colbert is making a cameo in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Colbert also hinted at a small walk on part in an interview. Word is his role does not appear in the first installment, An Unexpected Journey, which hits theaters this December, but will likely appear in the second film, The Desolation of Smaug.
No word yet on what his role will be, but rest assured, he is absolutely deserving of special treatment in Middle-earth. He is a self-proclaimed Tolkien superfan. Need proof?
