Kicking off this week’s booklolz post are some stunning hand-drawn 2013 cover tributes courtesy of Dualed author Elsie Chapman’s daughter Gillian. Elsie shared beautiful color drawings for Dualed and eight other 2013 releases posted on her author group blog, Friday the Thirteeners.

The Babysitter’s Club‘s Claudia Kishi was a huge fashion role model for me when I was a little side ponytail-wearing girl who wore funky leggings and giant earrings like they were going out of style (spoiler alert: they were!). So I kind of want to tackle-hug artist Yumi Sakugawa for making a hilariously smart and heart-warming web-comic tribute to Claudia.
