About The Summer I Wasn’t Me:

Lexi has a secret.

She never meant for her mom to find out. And now she’s afraid that what’s left of her family is going to fall apart for good.

Lexi knows she can fix everything. She can change. She can learn to like boys. New Horizons summer camp has promised to transform her life, and there’s nothing she wants more than to start over.

But sometimes love has its own path…

I love a good book-playlist, especially when lots of the songs are new-to-me 🙂 And this defo sounds like a book I want to read!

I’ll have to look up some of these, particularly Hair which I don’t think I’ve heard but maybe I have and I just didn’t know that was the name of the song 😉 I love learning what inspired a story, thanks for sharing!

I need to check some of those songs

I love when authors put playlists together for their books. The Summer I Wasn’t Me seems to have fallen under my radar for some reason, but I do like the sound of it, and I definitely look forward to checking it out now. Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂

Love the playlist! Oh and I can see this book already being a bit heartbreaking. I mean the blurb already has me worried for her.

Love how eclectic this list is — and The Smiths!! Woo-hoo!

I want to read this book. I love the playlist, and now want to listen to Bananarama all day.

Great play list!! This does sound like it would be quite the emotional read for sure.

I really like “Brave”, “Closer”, and “She Keeps Me Warm.” Thanks for sharing – love book playlists.

This sounds good, and now I need to check out some of these tunes as well!

Thanks — I want to read this one 🙂

I am always on the hunt for a fun summery read. I like the eclectic play list. Songs for everyone, even some old school stuff.

It’s always fun to get the music behind the stories
