Don’t Wait
by Mapei

Old friend indeed, come build me up
Come share your light, it makes me shine
You get the message, don’t you ever forget it
Let’s laugh and cry until we die

If it wasn’t for you, I’d be alone
If it wasn’t for you, I’d be on my own
Don’t wait til I do wrong
Don’t wait til I put up a fight
You won my heart
Without a question, don’t wait for life

I care for you,
I talk to you
In my deepest dreams,
I’m fortunate
We got a friendship
No one can contest it
And not to mention
I respect you with my all

Not a thing in the world could get between what we share
No matter where you at, no worry I’ll be there
No one’s got your back like I do
Even when business  ain’t going well, we still cool
When I shine, you shine, I’m always on your side
All my life you’ll have what’s mine
Mark my word, we gonna be alright
My brother, my sister we gonna be just fine

In A Little Too Far, Lexie and Trent discover that they are more than just best friends when one thing leads to another and they sleep together. This would be a slam dunk happily ever after if it weren’t for the fact that their parents are married, so they’re technically step-siblings. And Lexie’s about to head off for a year abroad in Rome. They both want more, but it’s difficult to say so with thousands of miles between them, and multiple distractions (one in the form of a delicious Italian almost-priest) threatening their suddenly fragile relationship. It’s difficult to not want to grab them like Barbie and Ken and smash their faces together, but they have to come to the realization that they can’t live without each other on their own.

Well that’s it, I need to read this one!!

Ooh. I really like this song!! What a gorgeous voice and I like the snaps. And I really like how it works with this book/series. NICE!!

What a cute name! I’ve often found songs to match books but never ever have I thought of such an adorable name for it.

    Sexy good song too!

    Pssst Happy Valentine’s Day! 🙂

This song is really great. I haven’t heard of it but I’ll have it on mind once I finally start reading this series. Great post, Lauren 🙂

I love this feature because I often hear songs but never bother to look them up, and this happens to be one of those songs! It’s gorgeous

Step-siblings? Interesting. Yeah I so need to read this and I love this song!

Oh I like the song. I’ve been wanting to read this for awhile, and now I want to read it even sooner.

I don’t have any speakers at the moment so I can’t listen to the song, but I’ll have to dig up some headphones or something. I do have this book and I really want to read it!
