Today we’re excited to have C.J. Lyons stopping on her blog tour for Broken. We asked her to come up with a fantasy cast for the book, and she came up with an amazing group of actors to bring her main characters to life.
Fantasy Cast for BROKEN by CJ Lyons
Wow, that’s a great question! It’s so much easier to answer for my adult thrillers (we’ve had tons of producers and networks looking at them, but haven’t found the right partners yet) because I don’t have to worry about the age of the actors as much.
I think for BROKEN, I’d use the best of today’s teen actors combined with some stellar adult stars:
Scarlet’s Stepmom: Drew Barrymore
Scarlet’s Dad: Bradley Cooper
Jordan: Liam Hemsworth
Nessa: Nicole Lovince
Celina: Lucy Hale
Tony: Nolan Gerard Funk
Scarlet: Lily Collins
That is an amazing fantasy cast, thanks so much for sharing!
The only thing fifteen-year-old Scarlet Killian has ever wanted is a chance at a normal life. Diagnosed with a rare and untreatable heart condition, she has never taken the school bus. Or giggled with friends during lunch. Or spied on a crush out of the corner of her eye. So when her parents offer her three days to prove she can survive high school, Scarlet knows her time is now… or never. Scarlet can feel her heart beating out of control with every slammed locker and every sideways glance in the hallway. But this high school is far from normal. And finding out the truth might just kill Scarlet before her heart does.
