Director Guillermo Del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy) is adapting his The Strain Trilogy for a TV series with FX. He co-wrote The Strain, The Fall and The Night Eternal with Chuck Hogan, and they will work together again to write the pilot. Del Toro will direct and executive produce the pilot episode, with Carlton Cuse (Lost) set to be showrunner.
Vampires again, you may be asking? Will these bloodsuckers ever just walk in to the sun and bite it? Rest assured, in Del Toro’s hands, they will get a fresh, blood-curdlingly scary lease on life.
