Lore Adaptation Gets a Director

Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black 3) is in talks to direct the hotly-anticipated adaptation of Lore, the graphic novel by T.P. Lousie and Ashley Wood.
The story is pitched as “Men in Black with mythological cratures,” so it’s a pretty good fit for the former Men in Black helmer.
Dwayne Johnson is still in talks to star in the film.
About Lore:
In times past, the world was full of mythical creatures – creatures long since banished and held at bay by the secret society of Shepherds.
But when the generational line of Shepherds is broken, a reluctant hero finds her life threatened from every quarter.
And the creatures are coming back…

Ok, I’m a huge fan of this series, and I feel like THE ROCK and Men in Black dude are going to royally screw this one up. I just don’t see it. I am clinging to the words “IN TALKS.” Please let it never go beyond that…..
I have never heard of this until now, but it sounds really cool!
