This trailer is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in awhile. Everything from the lack of dialog, to the imagery left me breathless. A co-worker at Dish and I are huge fans of this book, so seeing this trailer made us ecstatic for its release. To prepare ourselves for the movie, we decided to rent the other adaptions from Blockbuster @Home. It’s so nice to come home to a DVD in the mail, or exchanging it in the store if we’re feeling impatient. It is interesting to see what direction all of the directors take with their interpretations of Catherine and Heathcliff. This version looks different from the rest; it may be the bleak atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for this story of such a tragic couple.

I agree Lucy, I’m really liking this interpretation of it. I hope the full movie is as bleakly beautiful as this trailer!

This is unbelievably beautiful. I really hope this comes to my crappy podunk town. We never get cool movies like this. I would drive to Austin for this movie. The trailer makes me want to cry! And makes me want to reread WH.

I’ve yet to read the book, but this movie looks really good, though probably not something I’ll go to the theatre to see.
