The first trailer for Mike Newell’s adaptation of Great Expectations just hit the web! And for those of you who speak German, double score—subtitles for you!

Yes, this is also a Harry Potter reunion of sorts (can you blame Mike Newell for feeling nostalgic?). Helena Bonham Carter brings her Bellatrix Lestrange stylings to the original bat-crazy loon, Miss Havisham. Ralph Fiennes shows up WITH a nose this time to play the convict Magwitch. And Robbie Coltrane, better known to Potterheads as Hagrid, takes on the role of Mr. Jaggers.
