Catching Fire casting rumors have been flying fast and furiously for weeks, and the last time we checked in on the Johanna Mason role, Jena Malone (Sucker Punch) had reportedly been offered the part.
Apparently some rumors turn out to be true—yesterday Lionsgate confirmed that Jena Malone has officially been cast in the role of Johanna Mason.
What is that wailing I hear? Ah, it must be Kristen Bell, having a sloth meltdown over losing out on her dream role. If someone would just sneak her on set, I’m sure all will be well again for this Hunger Games superfan.

I think she’ll do a great job, but I confess, I was kind of behind Kristen Bell (not just because we have the same name
). She was just such a huge fan, and she was great in Heroes and Veronica Mars. LIke I said, I’m okay with Jena, but I wish Kristen would get some role.
