A pilot for a TV adaptation of Melissa de la Cruz’s Witches of East End has just been ordered for 2013 programming on Lifetime.
Maggie Friedman (Dawson’s Creek) will serve as writer/ executive producer along with Erwin Stoff (The Matrix).
The book centers on a family with a witchy secret in the well-to-do Hamptons. Now we just need to round out the de la Cruz NYC paranormal TV lore with a Blue Bloods series! Any takers?
