Meet the new Head Gamemaker of the Catching Fire Quarter Quell!Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has long been rumored to have the role of Plutarch Heavensbee in the bag—and now it’s official. Kudos to Lionsgate for bringing some added gravitas to the franchise.

Of course we’re thrilled that a talented actor snagged such a critical role in the film, but we’re even more thrilled that this news serves to narrow down the major roles that have yet to be cast before the watery excitement of the Quarter Quell begins shooting.

With Jena Malone in talks for the role of Johanna Mason, we are now free to freak out about Finnick Odair casting rumors pretty much full time. Lionsgate, do not let us down!
