YALSA Top Ten Announced

To kick off Teen Read Week (yeah, we know, EVERY week is Teen Read Week in our nabe, but this is official and fancy), YALSA released the 2012 Teens’ Top Ten List.
Congrats are in order to these books and their very talented authors! Nine thousand teens voted for their favorite books, and the list shook out to this:

7. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
8. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
9. Where She Went by Gayle Forman
10. Abandon by Meg Cabot

I totally agree, Divergent was teh best book last year.
This list is totes amazeballs. I would know, I’ve read all of them!
All these authors are amazing, and I agree with all the choices, except maybe the lack of Code Name Verity.
This includes all my favorite 2011 books! Divergent and TFIOS and Scorpio Races especially.
